Eating You Alive – Finishing


Domicile Films Post recently completed the audio and picture finishing on the feature-length documentary, “Eating You Alive.” Directed by Paul David Kennamer and produced by Merrilee Jacobs.  Eating You Alive features leading medical experts and researchers, the film takes a scientific look at the reasons we’re so sick, who’s responsible for feeding us the wrong information and how we can use whole-food, plant-based nutrition to take control of our health—one bite at a time.  The film’s sound design and 5.1 mix was completed by Rob Daly.  Domicile Films Post hired colorist Ranju Majumdar to color grade the film in DaVinci Resolve.

Posting Bare


Domicile Films is supplying the independent feature film “Bare,” with an Avid off-line edit through finishing. The film was was written and directed by Natalia Leite.  Domicile’s audio department will be providing the sound edit and design, and a Dolby 5.1 audio mix.

Bare is the story about a young girl living in a small desert town in Nevada.  She becomes romantically involved with a female drifter who leads her into a life of drugs, stripping, and psychedelic spiritual experiences.

BARE stars Dianna Agron (Glee), Paz De La Huerta (Boardwalk Empire, Enter the Void), and Chris Zylka (The Leftovers) and is written and directed by Natalia Leite, produced by Alexandra Roxo and Chad Burris.

The Erotic Fire of the Unattainable – Mix


Domicile Audio is close to wrapping up the mix for “The Erotic Fire of the Unattainable.”  This feature film is directed by Emilia Ferreira.

The film is cleverly adapted from a book of aphorisms called THE EROTIC FIRE OF THE UNATTAINABLE from award-winning writer Gay Walley—-and stars Irina Bjorklund, Kevin Kilner, and Harry Hamlin

Experimenter – Post Audio

It is the true story of acclaimed and controversial psychological researcher Stanley Milgram.  Milgram is played by Peter Sarsgaard and Winona Ryder as his wife.

That Film About Money, Sound Design & Mix

Rob Daly and Timmy Quinn did the sound design and mix for the short film “That Film About Money” written and directed by James Schamus.   Paul G. Allen’s Vulcan Productions and Morgan Spurlock’s Cinelan have partnered to produce this series, that aims to drive awareness and establish a better understanding of the U.S. economy to the American public.  20 shorts all by acclaimed directors!–Check it  out!!!

Out In The Night – 5.1 Mix

OutInTheNightDomicile’s Rob Daly mixed this independent feature documentary titled “Out In The Night, ” in 5.1 for theatrical release.  Sound design by Timmy Quinn.  The film will premier at the Los Angeles Film Festival, June 2014.  and was produced and directed by Blair Doroshwalther,  produced by Giovanna Chesler, Yoruba Richen and Mridu Chandra.

Supreme “Cherry” – Post Audio

Screen Shot 2014-04-16 at 2.23.09 PMStaying true to our roots–we’ve just completed the sound for a video by international skateboard/clothing company Supreme.  This is Supreme’s first video, and is a much anticipated release in the skateboard world.  Post audio engineer Rob Daly mixed for 5.1 theatrical and DVD release.

Lucky Them – Post Audio


“Lucky Them”,  directed by Megan Griffiths, stars Toni Colette, Thomas Hayden Church, and Oliver Platt.  “Lucky Them” premiered in the Toronto Film Festival to a standing ovation in September.  It has since been bought by IFC and will now have its US premiere in Tribeca, before it’s theatrical release shortly after.  All of the post audio, sound design, and theatrical mix was completed by the Domicile Films post audio team.
